Shawn White Wolf's 2026 Helena Area Endorsements

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
After reviewing the 2026 Montana candidate information provided by Montana Free Press and taking time to consider the races that matter to me, I am publicly endorsing Erin Farris-Olsen, Michael Black Wolf, Amy Eddy, and David Sanders.
These endorsements are not about party labels alone. They are about judgment, public service, community responsibility, and the kind of leadership Montana needs right now. We are living through a time when voters need to slow down, look past the noise, and ask a simple question: Who is prepared to serve the people, not just the politics?
I am supporting Erin Farris-Olsen for Montana Senate District 41. Erin brings legal experience, a strong understanding of public systems, and a thoughtful approach to the issues facing Helena-area families. I believe she has the background and temperament to be a serious, practical voice in the Legislature.
I am supporting Michael Black Wolf for U.S. Senate. His campaign speaks to working people, rural communities, veterans, Tribal sovereignty, health care access, food sovereignty, and the cost-of-living pressures that too many Montana families are carrying. Montana needs leaders who understand that life here is not easy for everyone, and that public office should be used to improve real lives, not polish political talking points.
I am supporting Amy Eddy for Montana Supreme Court Seat 4. Judicial races matter deeply. Montana needs a fair, steady, independent judiciary that respects the law and protects the public’s confidence in the courts. I believe Amy Eddy is the right choice for that responsibility.
I am also supporting David Sanders for Public Service Commission Seat 5. The Public Service Commission affects everyday Montanans through decisions tied to utilities, regulation, infrastructure, and affordability. That work requires common sense, accountability, and a serious approach to public duty.
At this time, I remain undecided in the Montana U.S. House District 2 race. That is not a dodge; it is an honest answer. Voters should not feel pressured to make every decision before they have fully reviewed the candidates. I intend to keep studying that race before making a final choice.
Montana deserves voters who pay attention, ask hard questions, and make independent decisions. These are my choices based on what I know today, and I encourage others to review the candidates for themselves, compare their records and answers, and vote with both conscience and common sense.
Respectfully,
Shawn White Wolf
